Job Overview

As an Accounts Resolution Specialist at Trajector, you’ll play a vital role in supporting Veterans towards the next step in their journey. Working closely with our management team, you’ll connect directly with Veterans to explain the value of our services, build trust, and help them navigate the payment process for invoices and past-due balances. This position is ideal for someone who combines professionalism and empathy with strong communication skills — someone who takes pride in making a meaningful difference while ensuring a positive client experience for every Veteran we serve. This position is remote and based out of our Gainesville Corporate Office. The hours are Monday - Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm Eastern.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Making sure customers understand the full journey and establish the value of what we do.
  • Listening to our customer and ensuring all objections are handled accordingly.
  • Educating customers to their next steps in their process.
  • Collect payments on current and past-due invoices.
  • Resolve billing disputes and reconcile accounts to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Proactively make outbound calls, send SMS messages, and manage email workflows.
  • Inform clients of current and overdue balances.
  • Review and verify account documentation and request what is necessary.
  • Ensure all customer information is correct, including phone numbers and addresses.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate account notes and records.
  • Set up repayment plans and negotiate new payment terms when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and company security policies.
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to changes in company processes, workflows, and systems.

Qualifications

  • Authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • 3-5 years of Collections experience required.
  • Must be able to type 40 words per minute. 
  • Experience in a call center or fast-paced environment required.
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Dedicated, secure, and quiet workspace free from distractions required.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls for approximately (8) hours per day.
  • Minimum internet speed of 25 Download/10 Upload to be eligible for hire.
