Job Overview

The Project Manager at Benefit Karma will play a critical and hands-on role in organizing, managing, and executing key initiatives that support our mission to simplify and scale access to benefits for consumers. This role requires someone who can make things happen—a doer who brings structure to ambiguity, drives accountability, and ensures that strategic ideas translate into measurable outcomes. 

The ideal candidate is a systems thinker who connects dots across teams, processes, and technology. They see the big picture while breaking work down into actionable, trackable steps. They are highly organized, proactive, and skilled at following through and following up to ensure results. This individual communicates with clarity—able to distill complex information into executive-level insights while keeping team execution sharp and on track. 

We’re looking for someone who is scrappy, analytical, and growth-minded, thriving in a fast-paced, matrixed, entrepreneurial environment. Experience in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), technology tools, consumer experience design, or operational program delivery is highly valued. A creative or marketing background is also a strong plus, especially for candidates who can blend structure with storytelling and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute structured project plans that clearly define scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics. 
  • Translate strategic goals into actionable, measurable workstreams and drive accountability from start to finish. 
  • Collaborate closely with Benefit Karma leadership and cross-functional teams to align priorities, requirements, and deliverables. 
  • Bring operational discipline and systems thinking to ensure projects are executed efficiently and at scale. 
  • Identify and mitigate risks proactively, ensuring projects stay on track and outcomes are met. 
  • Use data and analytics to track performance, assess impact, and inform continuous improvement. 
  • Communicate effectively across levels—summarizing complex details into concise executive updates while keeping teams informed and engaged. 
  • Create repeatable processes and frameworks that improve efficiency, clarity, and scalability across initiatives. 
  • Foster collaboration and coordination across departments in a matrixed organization. 
  • Maintain a bias toward action—ensuring consistent progress, follow-up, and follow-through. 

Qualifications

  • Authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship available). 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Program Manager, ideally within a SaaS, consumer technology, or operations environment. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with precision and speed. 
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication—able to tailor messaging for executive and operational audiences. 
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, ambiguous, and entrepreneurial setting. 
  • Scrappy and resourceful—able to drive momentum even with limited resources. 
  • Experience with SaaS platforms, CRM systems, analytics, and workflow tools preferred. 
  • Background in marketing, creative operations, or consumer experience design is a plus. 
  • Minimum internet speed: 25 Download / 10 Upload (for remote environment).
