Job Overview

The LegalTech Automation Engineer will serve as AnchorSix’s in-house expert for implementing, customizing, and optimizing legal technology platforms—primarily Filevine, LeadDocket, and VineSign—while designing and deploying advanced automations and workflows using the Workato integration platform. This role blends developer-level technical skills with deep platform configuration expertise to help legal, compliance, and case management teams streamline operations, improve data integrity, and maximize ROI from their technology stack.

 

This position requires a self-motivated problem solver who can gather requirements, architect solutions, and deliver polished, well-documented automations in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.

  • Competitive compensation ranging from $100,000 - $120,000 per year with total compensation ranging from $120,000 - $142,000.

Responsibilities

Platform Implementation & Configuration

  • Configure, customize, and optimize Filevine, LeadDocket, and VineSign to align with client business processes and compliance needs.
  • Design and deploy workflows, task automation, document templates, and reporting tools to improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage platform permissions, user roles, and security configurations.

Workato Automation Development

  • Architect, develop, and maintain Workato recipes to automate workflows between legal tech platforms and other business applications.
  • Implement data integrations for CRM, document management, and case management systems.
  • Build reusable automation templates and integration patterns for future projects.

Process Analysis & Solution Design

  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and business analysts to capture detailed requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Identify inefficiencies in current workflows and recommend automation opportunities.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and refine workflows before deployment to production.

Ongoing Maintenance & Support

  • Provide post-implementation support for automations and integrations, including bug fixes, enhancements, and performance tuning.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for all automation solutions.
  • Train client stakeholders on new workflows and features.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience with Filevine, LeadDocket, and VineSign administration, configuration, and customization, or similar CRM and case management platforms.
  • 2+ years’ experience building integrations and workflows with Workato or similar iPaaS tools (e.g., Zapier, Make, Boomi, MuleSoft).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, JSON, and REST APIs for building and troubleshooting integrations.
  • Strong understanding of business process automation concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in client-facing roles with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a tech consulting or legal technology consulting environment.
  • Knowledge of legal operations, case management workflows, and compliance requirements for law firms.
  • Experience with SQL, data transformations, and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based authentication and security protocols (OAuth, SAML, JWT).
