Job Overview

As a Medical Symptoms Quality Specialist, you will review previously reported symptoms by the Veteran for the conditions they experience. This is a high call volume role which completes an average of 30+ calls per day with clients. This call will require team members to answer questions from clients about exams and provide guidance on how to clearly communicate how their disabilities impact their daily life. The Symptoms Audit Specialist will send documents to the client after the call has been completed with notes from the call. This is an hourly position scheduled from 8am-5pm EST, that will report to the MSAT Team Lead.

Responsibilities

  • Completing scheduled calls.  
  • Answering incoming calls as needed.
  • Completing unscheduled outbound calls.
  • Rescheduling appointments.
  • Reviewing symptomatology with Veterans.
  • Sending follow up emails and documentation.
  • Reviewing client symptoms in the client records.
  • Clearly communicate with client about Military related symptoms and their impacts.
  • Documenting symptomatology in client records.
  • Maintain positive scores with Quality Assurance.

Qualifications

  • Authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Active LPN license.
  • Minimum 1 year patient care.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, analytical and critical thinking.
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications.
  • Actively embraces and makes use of collaborative problem solving, diverse viewpoints and unique skillset.
  • Minimum internet speed of 25 Download and 10 upload.
