(Driving Referrals, Testimonials, and Outside Sales)

Are you a highly motivated sales leader with a passion for supporting those living with disabilities in obtaining the benefits they deserve? Join our team, dedicated to assisting veterans with disabilities in qualifying for legally, medically, and ethically deserved benefits. As the Inside Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving referral efforts from other veteran clients, employees, other lines of business, and external partners. Also, you will work closely with our team that collects client testimonials and assists in our outside sales/grassroots lead generation efforts.

About Our Perks, Compensation, & Benefits

  • Competitive compensation ranging from $74,000 - $88,000 per year with total compensation ranging from $94,000 - $110,000.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a remote workforce: Demonstrate exceptional leadership skills in managing and motivating a remote sales team. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members, enhancing their skills and competence. Foster a collaborative and engaged team culture.
  • Work closely with our internal client testimonial team to improve the number and quality of customer testimonials collected by our team.
  • Assist with outside sales/grassroots lead generation efforts. This would include coaching and assisting our outside sales team (currently one team member), to improve overall business goals including leads, retained clients, and brand visibility.
  • Drive referral efforts: Take full ownership of driving referrals from various sources, including other veteran clients, employees, other lines of business, and external partners. Implement strategies to educate and direct efforts across different teams, maximizing referral opportunities. Lead re-marketing initiatives to convert unresponsive leads and individuals previously not interested in our services.
  • Data consolidation and ongoing improvement: Consolidate and analyze data on referral and re-marketing efforts, continually seeking ways to improve results. Utilize insights and metrics to develop new plans and strategies, optimizing referral and re-marketing performance.
  • Closely monitor referred clients: Oversee a team assigned to assist all referred clients, ensuring their needs are addressed promptly and effectively. Provide guidance and support to the team, ensuring a seamless experience for referred clients.
  • Compensation plan design: Develop and implement compensation plans for the sales team, aligning with key metrics to drive referral and re-marketing efforts. Ensure compensation structures motivate and incentivize team members to actively participate in generating referrals and converting leads.
  • Performance analysis and reporting: Conduct ongoing analysis of daily, weekly, and monthly performance trends and root causes. Create visually oriented reports and insights to enable informed decision-making and proactive performance improvements. Provide Intake Manager with regular KPI reports and data trends.
  • Maintain quality standards: Establish and enforce organizational standards, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to best practices. Continuously seek ways to improve the client experience and uphold organizational standards.
  • Coaching internal teams including sales, collections, invoicing, operations, and customer experience teams on conducting engaging and compliant conversations with clients to drive referrals.
  • Provide data to be communicated weekly to our entire team via company Compass email.

Qualifications

  • Authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience successfully executing sales goals, with a proven track record of driving referrals and new business in a call center environment (Remote sales experience preferred).
  • Strong leadership and remote management skills, able to inspire and motivate a distributed sales team.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities, with the capacity to consolidate and analyze data on referral and re-marketing efforts, identifying areas for improvement and developing actionable plans.
  • Ownership mentality, taking full responsibility for results and driving performance excellence.
  • Strong technical skills with experience working with different systems (CRM, WFM, Scheduling, and other various related products).
  • Continuous learning mindset, staying up to date with new sales ideas and methods to optimize team productivity.
  • Experience managing a team with a strong focus on both sales and relationship management.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market activities, and competitor strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and passionate about helping veterans obtain their deserved benefits.
  • Proven consistency in meeting or exceeding sales goals/targets.
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Business sense and industry expertise, understanding sales principles, marketing strategies, and sales control systems.
  • Familiarity with strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and resources.
