Job Overview

Trajector is seeking an Internal Communications Specialist, This person will support the organization’s internal communications efforts and activities to drive employee engagement that aligns with the company’s mission, goals, policies, and expectations. They will take the lead on telling the Trajector story via job descriptions, social media, blogs and internal communications. This person will have a creative mindset with strong verbal and written communication. They will partner with our cross functional HR team to ensure all company media and communications deliver a positive, vibrant, fun, and accurate perspective of the company culture. This position is remote and will report to the Talent Acquisition Director. Incumbent MUST reside within 2 hours of our corporate office in Florida. 

About Our Perks, Compensation, & Benefits

  • Competitive compensation ranging from $50,000 - $55,000 per year with total compensation ranging from $60,000 - $65,000.

Responsibilities

  • Write, research, and edit communications to engage and inform employees through a variety of internal communications channels, including the company newsletter, emails, intranet, videos, and social media.
  • Coordinate and execute employee recognition initiatives and content in collaboration with Human Resources.
  • With input from Human Resources, create and edit content that supports recruiting programs, training and development programs, employee benefits, and employee engagement programs.
  • Work closely with supervisor to support internal communications planning and communication needs.
  • Write clearly and informatively, edit work for spelling and grammar, adapt writing style to meet need.
  • Growing knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in employee retention, morale, recognition, productivity, and incentives.
  • Complete tasks in a proactive manner, actively seeking ways to produce high quality, efficient work. Responds promptly to assignments and tasks as requested and keeps commitments to deadlines.
  • Assist and support various corporate events, such as employee town halls or employee engagement events.
  • Be a team player with flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Journalism, or related field required.
  • Two (2) years prior experience in a communications role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. 
  • Ability to work independently and make independent decisions. 
  • Ability to work within timeframe of standard policies and procedures. 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality related to sensitive company and employee information. 
  • Growing knowledge of HR principles and federal/local regulations. 
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to write articles for publication that conform to approved style and format.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
  • Minimum internet speed of 25 Download/10 Upload.
